Never encircle a toe with tape or lambs wool as there is a real risk of strangulation and cutting off the blood supply to the digit. |

Never cut into the corners. Nail spikes may be left behind if the nails are not cut straight across. Prevent an ingrown toe nail. |

1. Nails should be cut straight across. |

2. If the corners are sharp use a long handled file. |
|
|
3. Over grown thickened nails can damage adjacent toes |
|
|
4. Your podiatrist will safely deal with any foot problems |
