Never encircle a toe with tape or lambs wool as there is a real risk of strangulation and cutting off the blood supply to the digit.

Never cut into the corners. Nail spikes may be left behind if the nails are not cut straight across. Prevent an ingrown toe nail.

	1. Nails should be cut straight across.
	2. If the corners are sharp use a long handled file.
	3. Over grown thickened nails can damage adjacent toes
	4. Your podiatrist will safely deal with any foot problems
